Edge computing is a method of optimizing applications by taking some portion of an application, its data, or services away from one or more central nodes (the “core”) to the edge of the network, e.g. closer to the device end users. EDGE GRAVITY has sponsored and co-written the “State of the Edge report” which can be downloaded at www.stateoftheedge.com.
